主持多项国家及省部级课题；2005年获教育部自然科学二等奖。发表学术论文100余篇，其中含IEEE Transactions近30篇；论文被SCI收录30多篇次和EI收录130多篇次。

近期打算开展的科研工作：电磁暂态仿真及继电保护的基础理论、保护控制技术与现代信号处理技术及智能技术的交叉融合、新型发电技术及电网技术等。
